The kits include FULL INSTRUCTIONS (in case you missed the edition) for making the both pots and the tray, (pot instructions are only briefly covered in the magazine).

Note the project in the magazine used white grout, but see here how the use of the black grout makes the project  almost like stained glass. Both colours work well, the white may fit in with your bathroom decor but the black is a braver more dramatic choice.
