First visit (unless you have previous mosaicing experience) is charged at £20. 

These lively Tuesday morning classes have a regular following. You can come once, every week or when you are able, but it’s a good idea to email in advance to check we have space. Students this term have made glass coasters, paving slabs, house names and house numbers, also various geckos, seahorses, dogs, horses and roosters have also made an appearance. We also always enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat! Make this a date in your creative calendar, this weekly workshop where you can get advice, meet other students, browse materials, try new techniques and progress your projects. A4 mosaics charged @£15.00 (to give you an idea of material costs). Purchase your materials and finish your work at home or bring your project back to finish another day. Please wear warm clothes in cold weather. Allergies; Please note my spaniel is sometimes with me in the studio.

Group  workshops By arrangement. Bring your own group of friends or colleagues for a social gathering, work outing or motivation training day. It’s a really creative & fun way to spend time together, escaping the stresses of daily life whilst learning a fascinating new skill. (Min. 8.)

Birthday parties NOTE: due to work commitments we are not taking bookings for parties currently (from May 2011), but kits can be made up for you to hold your party at home. MDF mirror & heart kits (see below), available in several attractive designs, are simple to put together and (most) require no cutting. They are an really absorbing activity for a childrens party from about age 9/10 upwards and can be offered with absolutely no experience as detailed instructions are given (online, see below). £13.50 per kit, minimum 8. Mirror kits take about one hour/90 mins to make up, heart kits about 45 minutes. Collect from Newport or Saffron Walden.

Kits are either supplied with exact colours and layout to follow, or pay a refundable deposit and take away additional tiles so the children have alternative colours to choose from, though they must still follow the design.

A truly beautiful item using fabulous materials will be created to be treasured forever (by parents and children)!

Heart shaped designs (below), (heart instructions here) with 4 letters (max) cost £12 and require some cutting, or plain in various colours (£8.00) made with glass puzzles (very easy for little fingers) are also available. Minimum order 8 kits. 50p extra for glue.

Parties (when studio time is available, pls enquire as the situation changes) can be held at our studio in Newport. (See location). We have a well equipped mosaic studio for up to 12/14 students in 2 linked rooms, plenty of parking on the High St right outside and a tantalising range of materials.
